Young Jeezy - Let's Get It-Thug Motivation 101
By request, it’s Jeezy’s major-label debut.
Probably my favorite by him, though I must admit I’m not the hugest fan. I can’t really put my finger on why that is. Maybe it would be more accurate to just say he’s my least favorite Atlanta rapper?
Well, whatever. Judge Jeezy for yourself.

Neos - End All Discrimination & Hassibah Gets the Martian Brain Squeeze.
The Neos were a bunch of teenagers from Victoria BC who played fast fucking political hardcore in the late 80s, some of which was funny, all of which was fast. This CD represents their two seven-inches and some other crap which is the totality of their output. It’s not Crom-Tech crazy, but it’s still totally nuts.
At least one dude from Neos went on to be in the hardcore/grind/jazz(?) Mexican Power Authority, who are also excellent though quite different from Neos… except for the fastness.
It came with a bunch of inserts, which is probably why I bought it in the first place or because I was young and stupid enough to think this was actually the Necros.

Crom-Tech
Crom-Tech’s 1997 CD.
Mick Barr melts your face.
Seized - ST
This isn’t my rip, but I do have this CD. I bought it at a show, I think, probably just cuz it’s a Hater of God release or because of the Hand of Doom cover.
Anyway, this is some raw, crusty, tres-bass, doom from Quebec. I think a couple of the dudes were in Human Greed and I have no idea what they do now. The booklet is on nice heavy card stock and features lots of sad pictures of suicides, Pompeii, and old stuff and the lyrics mainly deal with the end of humanity and mental illness.
I vacillate between really enjoying this and finding it beaucoup boring. I guess its a mood thing.

Various - HG Fact Life Conception Compilation
I posted this elsewhere today for someone who was looking for more tracks by Acute aside from their 7”.
It’s good.
I’ll be posting more now and using mediafire mostly because it’s super easy…
Tireless fighters for a new society where we all end up sooner or later. You’ll notice the conspicuous absense of Emma Goldman. I think it’s just oversight, but I’d like to believe its because Dan was indignant at the thought that a woman of color (Lucy Parsons) was so slighted in comparison.
Look the people up you don’t recognize. It’s a great history lesson.
